Continue to operate on a Hazmat crew

If you are working with hazardous or radioactive substances it is required to undergo regular physicals to continue to operate on a Hazmat crew. These physicals are required to be undertaken annually to ensure that there are no changes in your health.

SCT Medical Clinic provides stands for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) physicals. These physicals are required for any employee who is exposed to hazardous substances or exposure levels above OSHA requirements, for any worker who wears a respirator for 30 or more days a year, becomes sick from overexposure, or works on a hazmat team.

During your exam, SCT Medical Clinic will review your medical history and undertake a complete physical exam. This may include blood work, pulmonary function testing, chest x-ray, and an audiogram. Your exam will also include vision screening, checking your lung function, urinalysis, and a liver function test.
